Founder
Dom founded the company in 2008 after gaining extensive experience working in various safari lodges across East Africa. Recognizing a gap in the market and the growing importance of ‘Responsible Tourism,’ he launched the company. After eight years in Malawi, Dom is now based in Devon, UK, where he leads Orbis Expeditions, the UK sister company.
With his deep African experience, Dom’s passion for Responsible Tourism in Africa is at the core of the company’s ethos.
Janna Innocent Kaliati (Inno)

Managing Director
Inno joined the company in 2015 as Head of Sales and Projects Coordinator. Over the course of 8 years, he climbed the ranks and now co-owns the company with Dom. His passion for Sustainable Tourism and adventure is truly inspiring.
Inno holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Tourism. An avid outdoor enthusiast, Inno particularly enjoys leading hiking expeditions.
Deliwe Hara Kacheche (Dee)

Dee joined the company in 2022 as the Head of Finance and Administration. With a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and currently pursuing an MBA, she brings extensive experience in financial management across various sectors.
As she explores her first venture into the tourism industry, Dee plays a crucial role not only in managing finances and shaping company policy but also in guiding our strategic direction with her valuable insights on financial decisions.

DD brings energy and creativity to our office (check out our TikTok if you need proof!). Since joining us in 2022, she has been our Sales Consultant, crafting unforgettable itineraries while also managing content creation for our social media channels.
With a Bachelor’s degree in Tourism, DD is passionate about showcasing the beauty of Malawi to both local and international audiences, ensuring every traveler gets a glimpse of what makes this country so special.

Fatima became part of the team in 2023 as our Finance & Administration Officer. Working alongside Dee, she ensures our financials are accurate and office operations run smoothly. She joined us immediately after earning her Bachelor’s degree in Finance & Accounting.
With her ever-present smile, Fatima brings a bright energy to our office. Outside of work, she has a passion for nature photography, capturing the beauty of the world around her.

Ozzie has been an integral part of our journey since joining the company in 2011. As our most experienced tour guide, he takes great pride in leading trips and showcasing the beauty of Malawi to our clients.
Beyond guiding, Ozzie played a role in the historic translocation of 500 elephants in Malawi—a story he loves to share with both colleagues and travelers. He holds a Diploma in Marketing and brings both expertise and passion to every expedition.
