The Women’s Partnership Challenge

Why is this trip for you

This expedition is designed for women who want to travel intelligently. They itch to really have purpose in their adventures and see partnership as a hugely inspiring and exciting journey to be part of. Designed by Kate Webb (owner of Orbis Expeditions), after fifteen years of living and working in Africa, this partnership challenge combines shared purpose, collaborative business workshops, adventure and the very best slice of culture and travel. It is designed for women that rarely have time to think about themselves, women who question the why before travelling to emerging destinations and women who have fire in their belly to be part of an incredible sharing journey. Sharing with your team, sharing with the women and girls in Malawi and making time to learn, be inspired and empowered.

The Purpose

This expedition is about partnership. Sharing knowledge and inspiring one another. During two days of business workshops you will meet with some incredibly resilient Malawian entrepreneurs, passionate about business, determined to learn new skills and wanting to be part of a space that offers learning, shared knowledge and empowerment. Your core business skills are so valuable and their stories so inspiring. Some of these ladies will join you as you spend the day at a rural secondary school mentoring the final year students. Standing up and showing them what women can do and for them to see successful international and Malawian ladies coming together hand in hand offers so much support, hope and aspiration for what can be a tough and challenging environment to leave school into.

*Please note 10% of trip cost goes to the Orbis Foundation Micro Finance Fund for Malawian entrepreneurs.
