Dominic Webb (Dom)
Managing Director, UK
Dom set up the company back in 2008 after working in various Safari Lodges across East Africa and after seeing a gap in the market and the future of 'Responsible Tourism'. After eight years in Malawi, Dom is now based in Devon, UK and heads up Orbis Expeditions, the UK sister company.
With vast Africa experience, Dom's passion for Responsible Tourism in Africa resonates throughout the company.
Innocent Kaliati (Inno)
Managing Director, Malawi
Inno joined the company in 2015 as Head of Sales and Projects Coordinator. After 8 years of rising through the ranks, Inno now co-owns the company with Dom and heads up Orbis DMC in Malawi. His passion for Sustainable Tourism and adventure is incredible.
Inno holds a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration and is currently studying for a Tourism Masters Degree.
He enjoys the outdoors, thus, loves leading hiking expeditions.
Deliwe Kacheche (Dee)
Accounts
Dee joined the company in 2022 and is the Head of Finance and Administration. She holds a Bachelors Degree in Accounting and currently pursuing an MBA. She brings with her great experience in Financial management from various sectors.
She is enjoying her first foray in the Tourism industry. Apart from crunching numbers and generating company policy, she is key in our strategic direction with her insightful advice on our company’s financial decisions.
Dorothy Daka (DD)
Sales
DD is the vibe of our Malawi office (see our TikTok if you dont believe us). She joined us in 2022 and is our Sales and Marketing Consultant. Apart from crafting the most amazing itineraries for you, she is also responsible for generating content for our social media channels.
She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Tourism and loves creating content that showcases the beauty of Malawi to both our domestic and international clients.
Fatima Daud
Admin
Fatima joined the team in 2023 as our Finance & Administration Officer. She works with Dee in ensuring our numbers are on point and the office administration is run effectively. She joined the company straight after graduating with a Bachelors Degree in Finance & Accounting.
Always smiling, she brings the much needed light in our corridors. Fatima also has a passion for nature photography.
Faith Munyimbili
Community Development
The youngest in the office, Faith joined the team in 2022, fresh out of school. With great passion for Community Development and a Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Development, she is in charge of projects at the The Orbis Foundation, coordinating our efforts to make sure that the benefits of tourism reach the common Malawian in the village.
Apart from working with the communities, Faith also assists the Sales & Marketing department with content creation.
Osborne Phiri (Ozzie)
Guide
Ozzie joined the company in 2011 and has been a part of our story and growth. As the most experienced of our tour guides, he enjoys leading trips and sharing Malawi with his clients. In the past, Ozzie was also involved in the historic translocation of 500 elephants in Malawi and loves to share this experience with us and his clients.
Ozzie hold a Diploma in marketing.
Kenneth Makunganya (Ken)
Guide
Behind every successful client experience, there is a great Tour Guide. Ken has worked with the company since 2018 and is at the heart of our incredible experiences as our tour guide.
Ken comes from an ICT background and yet found his profession in his passion; Travel.
Ronald Nkombezi (Ron)
Guide
Ron joined the team in 2018 and has been an invaluable member of our operations department. His knowledge of Malawi is so rich and loves to share this with his guests.
He used to be a teacher, and obviously this makes him a great story teller.
